Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

OZ Home Hub Manufacturer's Warranty

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, OZ Home Hub offers a 12-month Manufacturer's Warranty on all new furniture products purchased from us.

Warranty Coverage

Our Manufacturer's Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

What Is Covered

    - Structural defects in frames and construction
    - Manufacturing faults in materials, such as fabrics, leathers, foam, and fillings
    - Defects in mechanisms, hinges, and hardware components

What Is Not Covered

    - Normal wear and tear, including fading, pilling, and stretching of fabrics
    - Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or accidents
    - Changes in the appearance of natural materials (e.g., slight color variations in wood or leather)
    - Damage resulting from exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., heat, moisture, sunlight)
    - Products that have been modified or altered
    - Commercial or institutional use of products intended for residential use

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a defect covered under our Manufacturer's Warranty, please follow these steps:
1. Contact Us Promptly: Notify OZ Home Hub within 14 days of noticing the defect by emailing our Customer Service team at hello@ozhomehub.com.au or calling us on (02) 9000 1030 .
2. Provide Necessary Information:

    - Your full name and contact details
    - Order number and date of purchase
    - A detailed description of the defect
    - Photographs or videos clearly showing the issue

3. Assessment Process:

    - Upon receiving your claim, we will assess the information provided.
    - We may request additional information or arrange for an inspection of the product.

4. Resolution:

    - If the product is deemed defective under our warranty, we will, at our discretion, arrange for repair, replacement, or offer a refund.
    - We will cover the reasonable costs associated with the warranty claim, including freight or transport charges.

Important Information

    - Care Instructions: Proper care and maintenance are essential. Please follow the care instructions provided with your product to ensure its longevity.
    - Third-Party Repairs: Unauthorized repairs or alterations may void your warranty. Please consult OZ Home Hub before arranging any repairs.
    - Change of Mind: Our warranty does not cover returns or exchanges due to a change of mind. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information.
